    Dear Teacher, I am writing my understanding of the chapter 'The Land of Two Rivers' here because I couldn't find the relevant post on this topic.

    The chapter 'The Land of Two Rivers' is about Babylon which is now called Iraq. This is one of the most ancient city/country of
    the world and is also famous for being the land of most prophets. The two rivers that ran through Babylon were Tigris and Euphrates. Hummurabi was among the famous kings who ruled this land. Babylon has a long history of it's destruction by invaders, such as, Assyrians, Sennacherib, Nebuchandnezzar and Cyrus. Babylonians never gave up and rebuilt their city each time it was destroyed. They had to struggle hard for freedom from brutal rulers. When the Greek travelers came here after 500 years, they found the city all perished.
